eeing Halloween in the American movies and series planted some pictures in our head on what to expect. Creepy costumes, houses totally decorated with scary stuff and people who scare you…Or is that me intoxicated by Hollywood?? So walking into “home depot” and “Halloween spirit” (it’s a store) made us looking forward to see all the decorated houses. But actually in our street there are like 12 houses but only 2 were decorated and then there was us. We did buy some decoration and Marlo and Nolan really liked our inflatable cat! But it is expensive to decorate so we didn’t go over the top. The balloon fiesta is here… since we decided to move here I started following some hash tags like #travelnewmexico #newmexicolife #newmexico #albuquerque #riorancho and many photos from the fiesta popped up… I started looking forward to this event of 9 days… so last Saturday when I put on the TV we saw that the air balloons wouldn’t go up because of the fog. That evening we decided to get up early the next morning and watch from a park to see the hot air balloons. When I woke up Marlo, he said: “I didn’t know that we were going to watch the balloons.” But he put on his clothes and was excited we were going. It is so beautiful to see all these balloons and I totally understand that this is the most photographed event in the world. … More Balloon Fiesta at Albuquerque
